Rodney Clawson

Rodney Clawson grew up on the family farm 5 miles west of Gruver, Texas. He began traveling to Nashville, Tennessee to write songs and signed his first music publishing deal in 2000. In his 24-year career, Rodney has had songs recorded by George Strait, Jason Aldean,Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Morgan Wallen, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw and many more. Rodney has written 24 number 1 songs and won multiple Songwriter of the Year awards. In 2023 he was inducted into the Texas Songwriters Hall of Fame. Rodney currently lives in Sterling, Kansas with his wife Nicolle and their 2 kids Charlie and Ford.
