Blossomin' Bone

It's been a decade since founders Bobby and Ryni began cultivating their individual musical stylings. It wasn’t until a chance meeting, a few starry nights, and a flea market guitar purchase 3 years ago, that residents of the Southeast would be privy to the folk / Americana / bluegrass originals by that of Blossomin’ Bone.

In recognition of their dedication to growth in the creation of their complex yet lively upbeat sound, they have added a couple new members along the way. You may catch the two of them at your favorite local music festival or venue, along with any number of their folk-centric fellow instrumentalists. While the sound remains true to its roots, with Bobby’s impactful percussion using his foot tambourine and stompbox, the greatest compliment is not only his banjo, but his counterpart Ryni. With her warm full-bodied vocals suiting her guitar strumming style, Ryni is half of the writing force of the almost exclusively original music that is Blossomin’ Bone.

On some of the luckier days you may spot their four piece, consisting of Holly on upright bass & Amanda scratching her washboard. With a signature “bass standing” stagecraft & a unique dash of rhythm on Amanda’s washboard; you’ll find them on the Saint Simons Island pier singing songs & telling stories to onlookers of the southern setting sun.

Winners of their division in the 2022 & 2023 Eustis Busker Festival, Golden Isle Music Awards Best Live Performance in 2023, Song of the Year & Album of the Year in 2024 & headliners of North Florida Fall Folk Fest in 2023. Bobby and Ryni have pushed to debut six full length albums with a total of 10 digital releases (supported by South Florida based record label Rats Ass Records).
