The event begins at 6:00 p.m. with chatter and mingling, and the first singer/speaker takes the stage at 7:00 p.m.

During this special Pecha Kucha event, each singer/songwriter presents in the traditional 20/20 format and then offers a 45-minute concert.

The St. Augustine Chapter of Pecha Kucha

For more than 10 years, the St. Augustine chapter of Pecha Kucha (PK) has presented local people sharing personal stories on several evenings throughout the year. At PK events, pre-selected presenters discuss their thoughts on the evening's theme, showing 20 slides and speaking about each one for 20 seconds before moving on to the next. This 20X20 format enables each presenter six minutes and 40 seconds to share their story.

During any Pecha Kucha Night, the audience can expect to learn, laugh, empathize, and be surprised. The annual Sing Out Loud Pecha Kucha event features three performers, so each shares their songs as well as their stories.
