Event Overview

Bio

The Florida Times Union has declared Chelsea Saddler “The second coming of Joni Mitchell”. Old City Life & WFCF have called her “Springsteen-esque”. She has been named the daughter of Janis Joplin and the queen of women songwriters – past and present. The music wears dusty, old leather boots with gravel in the soles and holes worn in the toe. Her axe swings heavy in the summer heat and you can feel the blues inside of her bones. High energy, electric vibes, and life-changing lyrics. As Chelsea played a one hour set on NPR’s “Roots and Branches” in Tennessee, she described her greatest influences as Lightning Hopkins, Odetta, Leonard Cohen, and her “behind closed doors” musician father.

Genre: Blues, Rock, Folk
