Tierney Tough

Tierney Tough is known for a lot of things. She’s been the multi-instrumentalist frontwoman of distinguished Orlando electronic-indie-rock band The Pauses. She’s been a frequent touring player for some kinda-big-deal indie and punk bands. She’s been a longtime scene organizer in her native Orlando through shows and music festivals. And though all of them are music-related, none so far have been completely for and by herself. Until now. After several years of playing and performing music in bands with others, Tough’s own personal songs, originally aided by the pandemic lull, have finally begun to elbow their way into existence. Her output over recent years is the space for Tierney’s signature voice to fully be itself and exhale its own spell. It’s a vulnerable and intense place, originally meant for just her. But come in if you’re curious. Maybe it’ll get you.
