Shy Blossom is a genre-bending alternative rock band from Southwest Florida, known for their emotionally charged sound and compelling live performances. Drawing inspiration from artists like Radiohead, Fiona Apple, PJ Harvey, Deftones, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Mitski, and more, Shy Blossom weaves together lush textures, dynamic rhythms, and haunting vocals to create music that’s both introspective and electrifying. Fronted by vocalist Adriana McDonald, the band features Abel Ramirez on guitar, Preston Lich on bass, and Julie Copithorn on drums. Together, they craft a sound that shifts seamlessly from dreamy ambiance to explosive intensity—anchored in vulnerability, connection, and sonic exploration. Shy Blossom has opened for national acts such as Sister Hazel and Shallow Side, and recently wrapped a Southeastern tour (July 24–30) in support of their upcoming releases. Now selected to perform at St. Augustine’s Sing Out Loud Festival, Florida’s largest free music event, Shy Blossom is excited to bring their immersive and genre-defiant sound to new audiences across the state.
