Erica Reese

Erica Reese makes music for girls who romanticize their own unraveling.

Blending indie pop with noir sensibilities, her sound is hazy, self-aware, and quietly cutting—like a diary entry dressed up for a night out. There’s a tension in her work: softness against grit, sweetness undercut by sarcasm, vulnerability that refuses to beg for sympathy.

After drifting between Tennessee, Scotland, and Australia in her 20s, Reese washed ashore Florida’s east coast mid-pandemic and leaned all the way in—channeling sun-faded nostalgia, tacky glamour, and emotional aftershocks into a fully realized aesthetic. The result is a distinctly Floridian dreamscape: humid, surreal, and a little bit unhinged.

Her debut EP Sad Pop Manifesto is out now—a 7-track introduction to her world of dreamy textures and sharp truths. Reese continues to rise through the Florida indie scene, with recent performances opening for Thelma and the Sleaze and appearing on the main stage at Winterland Festival alongside Caroline Rose and Osees.

The Erica Reese full band experience currently consists of Landon Tice, sound engineer at beloved community venue The Walrus on electric guitar and Verona Rose, a south Florida based music teacher, multi instrumentalist, songwriter and producer hittin' the drums!
