This Father-Daughter duo blends Folk and Americana weaving together fiddle, acoustic guitar, and soulful slide guitar, with balanced harmonies into a sound that feels both timeless and deeply personal.

Trevor Bystrom is an independent World music Singer/Songwriter that has been enamored by music from a young age and began performing live and writing his own songs at age 16.  Five years ago, he gained an 8 year old step-daughter, Nora (aka Bear), and although Nora had been singing since she could talk (and hadn't stopped since) the stars began to naturally align to create something special. Her love, passion, and gift for music continued to grow along with Trevor’s guidance and support, and she was soon jumping on stage during his breaks whenever she got the chance, learning multiple instruments, and writing songs of her own.  Today, Trevor and Nora both put on impressive solo acts in their own right, but have also since moved beyond their house and campfire jams, to combine their talents forming their latest endeavor, ‘Bystrom and Bear’. 

Their natural chemistry on stage creates an authentic connection that audiences can both hear and feel. They deliver warm, engaging shows creating a heartfelt and memorable performance that celebrate family, home, and the roads that connect us.
