Brothers Futch story began on a Christmas morning in 1978 when Brian got his first guitar. As he began sinking his teeth into the rock music of that era, his older brother Bobby decided to take it up as well. Bobby wasn’t enamored with the six string, so he decided to take up the bass and thus began a musical relationship between the two that has culminated in the band we know today as Brothers Futch. Eventually, Brian got married and joined the US Army and moved away. During that 35 year trip around the world, Brian fronted bands such as Red Velvet Mojo and Southern Mojo in Atlanta and Alabama, was vice president of Memphis Songwriters Association and was signed as a staff writer in Nashville for Split Publishing, writing with Marty Haggard, Marty Raybon(Shenandoah), Jeff Pearson and others. Over the years he was away, he would come back home on occasion and play shows with Bobby. For decades they talked of having their own project. In 2021, due to the failing health of their parents, Brian moved back home to St. Augustine and shortly thereafter, formed the band Brothers Futch. With the addition of James Krembs in 2022, Brothers Futch has been performing around North Florida, honing their sound and building their fanbase, playing clubs, festivals and private events. Their mission in life is to be the best they can be and bring happiness to as many people as possible through their music. Check them out at www.brianfutch.com
