Bob Patterson

Bob Patterson is one of the original co-founders of the Gamble Rogers Folk Festival and has functioned as the events Artistic Director booking acts, creating programs, benefits, and lineups for twenty four years. For more than twenty years, he has produced ‘The Music for the Birds Concerts’, which were significant fund raisers for the HAWKE Wildlife Association. He has participated in literally hundreds of events which benefited someone, or some organization, in need. In 2011 he was awarded the ‘Fellow Man and Mother Earth Award’ by the Stetson Kennedy Foundation. The award recognizes performers and composers whose lives and works have reflected their concern for the environment, human rights, and traditional culture. He has, also, served as a board member for the Florida Storytelling Association and in 2014 received a Lifetime Achievement Award.
